Children with the shoeboxes they contributed

This is the 4th year that Kemsing and Woodlands churches have taken part in Operation Christmas Child.

This was our best year yet: (To date) we have collected in 70 shoeboxes of gifts that will go to children around the world, many of whom may receive no other presents this Christmas.... more

Our summer holiday club this year was called "Junior Heroes". We thought about Paul's teaching from Ephesians 6 on how every Christian must "put on the full armour of God", illustrated with some Old Testament stories of how God used younger people in his purposes.

Margaret Head-Jenner (19.12.1928-18.8.2008)

Over 40 people gathered yesterday for a short service in memory of Margaret Head-Jenner (1928-2008).

Margaret was an active member of the church for many years, getting alongside people in friendship and helping them behind the scenes.

The Friends of St Marys held a fund raising event on Tuesday 18 June at West House. The total raised for the lunch was £422. The food was excellent and the weather stayed dry. So a big thank you to all who came and especially to all who contributed to the day.

Explorers Easter Garden 2013

Explorers is our after-school club for school years R, 1 and 2 - meeting on a Monday afternoon.

This year, they made a brand new Easter garden - it's still in the church building at the front of the north aisle. Go and have a look at their handiwork while it's still there.
