There are two after-school clubs in Kemsing each week, and Explorers is the one for children in Reception, class 1, or class 2. It meets in the church hall in Kemsing; whilst this is a short walk from Kemsing Primary School, the club is open to any Kemsing children regardless of which school they attend.

Children can join Explorers (provided there is space) from their fifth birthday. When they enter class 3, they would move up to Wednesday Club.

The club meets every Monday evening during term-time, starting at 3.30pm and finishing at 4.45pm.

Each week, there is a drink and a biscuit, a story, and some other activities. Explorers is led by Ruth Mason, and there are a number of other adult helpers as well.
