Morning Worship

At 11.00am almost every Sunday, there is a service that we simply call Morning Worship.

On the first Sunday of each month, this is an all-age service; on the other Sundays, children go to Sunday Special for part of the service while the adults remain in the church.

This service is enjoyed by young and old alike, and has a less formal style than the Sung Communion service. In all, the service lasts between 45 minutes and an hour.

We make sure we use everyday language throughout, so that even those who have not been to church for some time feel at home. The emphasis on the preaching is on hearing the Bible's message in today's world, with practical application. The music is contemporary in style, and features the best of the old hymns along with more recently written music.

The Morning Worship is not usually a Communion service, although there is a Lord's Supper (A more informal Communion) once a month, as advertised.

You are welcome, any time from 10.30am, to join us for coffee at the back of church; this gives us the chance to catch up with one another, and also to meet friends who attend the 9.30 service.

See our Sunday Services page for details of other services.
