Welcome Pete and Family
We are delighted to share the wonderful news of the appointment of our new priest, Revd Pete Deaves, together with his wife Claire and their children Mollie, Jemimah and Phoebe, who joined us in the Parish of Kemsing and Woodlands in November. Although they have already been with us for a little while, we wanted to take this moment to offer a warm and heartfelt welcome on behalf of the whole church family.
Pete comes to us with a deep love for Jesus, a passion for teaching God’s word, and a desire to serve our villages with kindness and humility. Over the past few months, many of us have already had the joy of meeting him on Sundays, at mid‑week gatherings, and around the community. His warmth, prayerfulness, and enthusiasm for parish life have been a great encouragement.
As a parish, we are blessed to be an all‑age church family — rooted in Jesus, nurturing His love, and growing His church — and we are excited to see how God will continue to work among us in this new season. We look forward to worshipping, learning, and serving together under Pete’s ministry.
Please join us in praying for the whole family as they continue settling into their new home and new rhythms of life here in Kemsing and Woodlands. May they quickly feel at home among us, and may God richly bless their time in our parish.
If you haven’t yet had the chance to meet them, do come along to one of our Sunday services or mid‑week activities — they would love to say hello.
