Jesus and one of the criminals swapped places

This morning, at our Good Friday service, we started in church with an all-age service, then went up onto Green Hill (by the cross) to continue our service in the open air. We then all returned to Kemsing Church for tea, fresh coffee, juice, hot chocolate - and, of course, hot cross buns.

Explorers in The Dynes for Christmas

Our Explorers group went into The Dynes again yesterday to sing some carols and to perform a simple costumed nativity play.

Advent Pulpit Fall

Rosemary Fielden lived in Kemsing for many years, and contributed much to the life of the village, including starting the Lunch Club. She died in March 2014, and a memorial service was held for her, in Kemsing Church on 9th May 2014.

Some of our children with their shoeboxes

Our shoeboxes for Operation Christmas Child have now been collected. Last year we sent in 106 boxes. This year, we set ourselves the ambitious target of sending in 200. In the end, we managed 162, which is a really good achievement. 200 was always intended to be a somewhat stretching challenge... more

Kemsing Explorers with their harvest loaves

Our harvest celebrations this year were helped along by contributions from two different groups within the village.

Explorers is our after-school club for the 5s to 7s. Anywhere from 6 to 10 children meet at the library each week for a snack, a Bible story, some games and activities.... more

The Craft Group taking their Twiddlemuffs into The Dynes

The Kemsing Church Craft Group have been working on a new project, "Twiddlemuffs".
