A huge thank you to everyone from Kemsing and Woodlands who took part in Operation Christmas Child this year.
Knowing it's harder this year to get to the shops and buy things to put in boxes, we had set ourselves the target of sending off 100 boxes. Last year we sent off 125, and we normally aim for a slight increase on the year before, but 100 felt like a realistic target for this year.

That's absolutely amazing! The children who will receive these will also have had a hard year, impacted by coronavirus probably in more ways than we have in England. Those 128 boxes will make a huge difference to their lives.
We'd like to say a special word of thanks to The Bell and the Dynes Road Cleaners who acted as drop-off points for us. This year, we couldn't leave the church building open for people to leave boxes at the back, so these two local businesses were absolutely key and we could not have done this without their help.
Those of you who paid the £5 shipping fee online and put a barcode inside the box will find out in the new year where they ended up. Do let us know!
