This year, we once again took part in Operation Christmas Child. Our own church family was joined by many from across the wider community. We had support from Kemsing Primary School, the Dynes Road Cleaners and the village library - all of which acted as additional drop-off points.
Last year, we were able to send off 162 boxes, which went to Swaziland. On the back of that, we set ourselves the ambitious target to see if we could reach 200 this year.
In the end, we didn't make 200, but we did manage to send off 169 boxes, which is an impressive achievement. We'll find out which country they go to in the New Year. The boxes were collected earlier on today - the picture shows just under half of the boxes we had assembled.
Thank you to everyone who took part. Please join us again next year!
