On Sunday evening, we again took our Evensong service into The Dynes so that we could join with the residents there for our evening worship.

The choir came, and sung an anthem during the service: "Lead me, Lord" by Samuel Wesley. We sang a number of well-known hymns, including "Now Thank We, All, Our God". Ruth Mason led the service, and preached on Genesis 9 and the rainbow after the flood.

Many residents commented how much they enjoyed the service, and it was lovely to have so many of our regular church congregation come to be part of this special occasion.

We plan to do this again at the start of July. Many thanks to all who made this possible, especially the staff on duty at The Dynes.
