50 shoeboxes for Operation Christmas Child

This is the 3rd year that Kemsing and Woodlands churches have taken part in Operation Christmas Child. This is an international project that sends gift-wrapped shoeboxes of presents all around the world to children, for many of whom this is their own Christmas present.

In 2010, we sent off 30 boxes; in 2011, we sent off 33; in 2012, we set ourselves the target of 40 boxes, but in the end people assembled no fewer than 50. Well done everyone - visit the website of Samaritan's Purse or of Operation Christmas Child where they have videos of children opening their boxes. The delight on their faces is what makes it all worthwhile.
