Weddings, baptisms & funerals
At Kemsing and Woodlands Church we are here to walk with you through the most important moments of life. Baptism is a joyful celebration of new life in Christ and the start of a journey of faith. Weddings are a time to rejoice in the gift of love and to ask God’s blessing on a couple’s life together. Funerals provide space to grieve, give thanks, and commend a loved one into God’s care. Whatever the occasion, we are committed to offering support, prayer, and a service that reflects both your story and God’s love. Please get in touch with the church office if you would like to explore arranging a baptism, wedding, or funeral with us.

The birth of a child is a wonderful time of joy and celebration, and many parents feel a deep desire to give thanks for new life. Across Kemsing and Woodlands, we offer two Church of England services to mark this milestone: a Thanksgiving, to gather with loved ones and give thanks to God for your baby's safe arrival, or a Baptism, where a child or adult is welcomed into the church family. Both services take place during our regular Sunday mornings, so the best way to start is simply coming along to an 11am service - it’s a great chance to experience our church family firsthand, and our Vicar, Pete, would love to say hello and help you explore the next steps.

If you're getting married, congratulations! A church wedding is a beautiful way to begin married life, and across Kemsing and Woodlands, we would love to help you celebrate. We offer bespoke options for your service - including the ringing of our church bells if you wish - as well as relaxed marriage preparation sessions to support you as you look beyond the wedding day itself. We’ll also walk you through the legal requirements to ensure everything is in order for your big day. To start exploring your wedding with us, simply email administrator@kemsingandwoodlands.org and we’ll be delighted to arrange a time to chat!

Losing someone you love can be deeply painful, and we are here to support you with care and compassion. While arranging a funeral can feel overwhelming, we will walk through the process with you step by step. Whether you are planning a service in church or at a local crematorium, Pete or a member of the team will spend time with you to listen, offer comfort, and help plan a service that honours your loved one and points to the hope we have in Jesus. Please get in touch at administrator@kemsingandwoodlands.org or ask your funeral director to contact us on your behalf.
